(Connoisseur-Caliber) ("New Arrivals Gallery") Viewing this deeply unique 150-year-old Bordjalou Kazak is like peering into a kaleidoscopic window and encountering pure, elemental geometry that frees the imagination. While rendered delightfully abstract, the pattern emerges as a portion of a much larger latticework that supports enormous single blossoms in crystalline simplicity. The composition can be read like a story of an infinite latticework of life-giving plants, surrounded by the eye-catching saffron-yellow main border, filled with a dynamic pattern that evokes the image of great flocks of birds in flight. Inside each bird, like a heartbeat, a Diamond of Strength is placed. The precious garden displayed on the prized azure field is protected by an inner Mountain of Security and an outer tree-like Fence of Security. Caucasian tribal weavers were renowned for their love of color and the magic that comes from their juxtapositions. The polymorphic forms and supporting lattice explore saturated jewel-tone hues together, causing them to shimmer and energize each other. For instance, outlining royal blue areas with thin vermillion red lines creates an overtone of rose red. This alluring, richly imaginative nomadic rug has the artistic power to attract the seasoned eye every day for a lifetime.
