Rendered with great clarity, its field design of latchhook-inspired medallions within four narrow courses is both tremendously inventive and captivating. The traditional Karabagh main border motif of repeating "Star of Wisdom" forms against an ivory base is drawn with skilled fluidity. Happily, this strongly collectible piece comes to us in excellent condition.
