Twitter Instagram Facebook Pinterest(High-Decorative) ("Fall 2018 Print Catalog") One of the youngest alluring room sized carpets in the collection, preserved in excellent condition, is this stunning compartment rug woven in Tabriz. Similar to the British firm Ziegler and Company and their venture with Sultanabad carpets, a German firm, Petag, set up workshops in Tabriz recognized today for producing highly inventive, extraordinarily crafted works based on 16th century Safavid carpets. The extraordinarily broad palette is based on brilliant copper and a series of golden hues that support a amazing tonal spectrum, including indigo, ivory, and absinthe. This complex rug is framed by a stately and beautifully articulated interlocking gold and blue vinery, the latter of which features a stunning abrash through its full length. Learn About This Rug Type
